I love a good mug craft because mugs are so useful. They make great personalized gifts and can be used to store pens, makeup brushes, or knitting needles. I’ve already got way too many mugs in my cupboard, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love adding to it. Here are some of my favorite projects.
Confetti Dipped Mug
I love the “dipped” look on mugs, which probably explains why most of my mug crafts are some variation of color dipping. It’s just so easy to execute. Chose your favorite color combo with tissue paper and make your own confetti mug in no time.
Mad Tea Party Tea Cups – Persia Lou
As you read this, I will be winding down from a trip to Disneyland (!!!) so seeing this craft inspired by one of the oldest rides there got me even more excited. They’re instantly recognizable and so cute I want a set!
Glittered Mugs – Jaderbomb
There are lots of fun glittery mug tutorials out there, but I think this one is my favorite. The larger glitter reminds me of mermaids for some reason, and they’re super eye catching and fun.
DIY Sprinkle Mugs – Studio DIY
I have a friend who goes crazy for sprinkles, so I think serving her some hot cocoa in one of these colorful mugs would really make her day. This project is pretty easy to do and so cute at the end!
Geometric Painted Mugs – Home Made by Carmona
I love abstract designs because they can be left entirely up to the artist, but to me the design of these mugs is perfect. I love the color combo and the layering.
