Hello .
This week I want to look at using fabric and how to make fabric bauble with out sewing.
There are some nice fabric at Creative Rox that we can use for bauble.
Materials:
- Fabric
- Polystyrne ball
- Sizzix Bigz Die Hedgerow
- Twine
- Brads
- Cardstock
- Tulle ribbon.
Method:
- Take a polystyrene ball and some fabric large enough to cover. You may need to double th efabric if the fabric is not thick enough.
2. Wrap the fabric around the ball and secure with a knot and tulle bow. Add a twine bow as below.
3. Die cut the Hedgerow die from cream and kraft card and adhere to the bauble with glue gun.
4. Add a brad to the center of the bow again using the glue gun.
These can be made very quickly and are a perfect addition to our Christmas tree.
I have chosen some vintage looking fabric but these would also look beautiful cut from traditional reds, golds and greens. Also you can use sparkling fabric. Also you can make varieties with shinny ribbon and sparkling bands.
They could be embellished using a whole range of the Sizzix dies.
