DIY Baby Monster Toy

This summer I had some friends with kids visit me and wanted to make a quick gift. This baby monster proved to be so popular I’ll be making some for holiday presents later this year.

Materials

  • Fur
  • Animal Craft Eyes
  • Thread
  • Sewing Needle
  • Stuffing

Directions

Cut two circles of fur fabric that are 6” across.

With fur sides facing each other sew circles together leaving a 3” gap. If you don’t have a sewing machine then hand sew with a needle.

Turn right side out.

Pick out eyes for your monster.

Cut small holes where you want eyes to be. Push eyes through holes.

Push metal washers onto plastic stems to secure eyes into place.

It’s alive!

Fill monster with stuffing until full.

Hand sew gap closed with matching thread.

Now the only thing to do is decide if you need to keep this little ball of cuteness or if you’ll give him away!
