Nothing makes me happier than creating something beautiful that also serves a function. I feel like I’m always much more proud of the projects I make that solve some sort of problem that I’m having. If you’ve got too much clutter in your office or your home, you’ve come to the right place for inspiration. I should say that I have a very minimalist and natural aesthetic, so while I find each and every item that I’m sharing beautiful, you might think they are a bit plain. I hope that you can find inspiration in everything, though, maybe you can infuse your personality into one of these projects!
Key Hook Planter
I feel like my life changed the moment I hung a key hook by the door of my first apartment. Never again did I have to miss the bus because I spent an extra minute or two looking for keys and I haven’t looked back. I love the natural wood and green of the plant on this key hook. It’s the perfect thing to welcome you home.
Cotton Fabric, Copper Wood Magazine Holder – I Spy DIY
I love that this magazine holder can be customized to coordinate with anyone’s personal style. Just select the right fabric for you! It’s the perfect way to keep your favorite magazines close at hand.
DIY Ring Display – The Merrythought
This simple and gorgeous wood ring display lets your pretty rings become the main focus. It’s a great way to easily see all of your jewelry at once without looking cluttered.
Mountain Desk Organizer – Ohoh Blog
I can’t get over how whimsical this desk organizer is. I think it would look great on a desk empty, but I love that it hides ugly office supplies and gives everything on your desk a fun place to go!
Brass Earring Pyramid – A Beautiful Mess
I can’t wear earring because I’m allergic to them, but this sweet earring organizer is making me wish I could. It’s a nice decorative piece for a shelf that won’t look too cluttered among everything else you need to store, and it’s a pretty place to keep your earrings.
