It blows my mind that paper flowers have become so realistic lately. Using tissue paper and crepe paper can really take a flower DIY to the next level and mimic real petals. There are so many different ways to create your own paper flowers to use in a wedding, decorate your home, or save on decor for any occasion.
Coffee Filter Flowers
The moment I saw this craft, I knew I had to make my own coffee filter flowers. The tutorial is so easy, and they really do look real! I used watercolors on mine, and love how they turned out. Even kids can create their own!
Paper Sunflowers – Craftberry Bush for eHow
I seriously cannot believe that these sunflowers are made from paper! Sunflowers have a pretty narrow time frame for when they fully bloom, so this is a great way to enjoy them all year long.
DIY Paper Flowers – Style Me Pretty Living
Anenomes are probably my favorite flowers, but they are very expensive and pretty hard to find. This simple tutorial looks just like them, and they turn out so pretty!
Giant Paper Rose – Green Wedding Shoes
This is a really unique and cost effective way to make a statement with your wedding bouquet. I love this for a quirky bride, or even home owner! Call me crazy, but I’d love to see a couple of these in a large vase or umbrella stand in someone’s home.
Paper Flower Narcissus – The House That Lars Built
I love how simple this little flower is. It reminds me of spring, and I’d love to see a whole bouquet of them. They would also make really cute gift toppers for spring.
